Atlas Copco, a Swedish multinational industrial company that manufactures industrial tools and equipment, has appointed Preeti Ahuja as HR leader.

Ahuja moves from Peak, where she served as head of people for more than a year.

An alumna from XLRI Jamshedpur, Ahuja started her HR journey with Larsen & Toubro, where she joined as senior HR executive in 2005. Four years into this role, she moved to GemStone Systems (now VMWare), as assistant manager – HR. A short, year-long stint later, she joined Emerson as HR manager – employee relations, in 2010.

Her next stop was Lear Corporation, where she served as deputy manager – HR for over a year. There, she successfully handled talent management and succession planning.

July 2014 saw her donning the hat of HR business partner at Alfa Laval. For almost six and a half years, she designed and implemented innovative strategies and HR interventions for the accelerated growth of the organisation. She also worked on OD interventions such as retention, individual development, training, performance management and team building.

It was in November 2020 that she became head of people at GO MO Group AB. This stint lasted just over a year, and in November 2021, she came to be associated with Peak, an AI company that helps businesses harness the potential of AI to increase profits and efficiency.

With a master’s degree in labour laws and an MBA in human resource management and personnel administration, and over 17 years of experience backing her, Ahuja is sure to be an asset to Atlas Copco.

HRKatha wishes her all the best in her new assignment.
