Holiday Inn Bengaluru Racecourse has promoted Ganesh B to the position of director-human resources, underscoring the hotel’s commitment to internal talent development and leadership progression.

The elevation marks an important milestone in Ganesha’s career, having grown through multiple HR roles within the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) ecosystem over the past several years. His appointment also reflects the hospitality sector’s increasing focus on nurturing homegrown leaders who understand both the business and its people culture.

Prior to taking on the new role, Ganesh served as human resources manager at Holiday Inn Bengaluru Racecourse, where he played a key role in driving employee engagement initiatives, strengthening workplace inclusion and supporting team member wellbeing across the property. He joined the hotel in December 2022 and spent more than three years contributing to various people initiatives.

Before this, he was associated with Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bengaluru OMR, where he progressed from assistant manager – human resources to human resources manager. Earlier in his career, he held HR positions at Holiday Inn & Suites Bengaluru Whitefield, advancing from human resources executive to assistant manager – human resources.

Ganesha began his professional journey with Lords Hotels & Resorts as a human resources officer after completing an HR traineeship at Fairfield by Marriott and an apprenticeship stint with Lamina Suspension Product.

Over the years, he has built experience across employee relations, statutory compliance, employee engagement and HR operations within the hospitality industry. He has also supported broader HR initiatives across other IHG properties in the region.

His promotion highlights Holiday Inn Bengaluru Racecourse’s emphasis on developing internal talent pipelines and strengthening its people leadership framework through long-term investment in employee growth and capability building.
