Singh takes over from Angelo Lo Vecchio, who is now moving back to Italy.

Adecco Group India has appointed Priyanshu Singh as the country manager.

Singh takes over from Angelo Lo Vecchio, who led the company in India for two years and is now moving back to Italy to take over a larger role as managing director for the staffing business line of Adecco Italy.

Prior to this, he was the country manager for Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS), where he was strategically leading and driving profitability and growth for the business in India. During his six-year stint at HBS, he was responsible for strategic initiatives of all three aerospace businesses: Defense & Space, Air Transport and General Aviation (B&GA). He also supported Honeywell’s (B&GA) customers and channel partners in India, while growing business to record levels.

“India is a priority market for the Adecco Group and we are pleased to have Priyanshu leading the Indian operations. I am confident his vast experience and dynamic personality will prove to be a great asset to the company. Priyanshu has demonstrated throughout his career the ability to work successfully in different environments, designing and leading strategies, which resulted in great value creation. I look forward to welcoming him and working with him.” says Sergio Picarelli, regional head, Italy, EE & MENA, and India.

Singh began his career in 2005, when he joined McKinsey & Company as a consultant and supported major corporations in diverse sectors and functions across India, Europe and Africa. During his tenure of five years, he contributed to and looked after many sectors, such as technology, industrials, banking, private equity, media and pharmaceuticals.

“After a fairly diverse work experience in management consulting, industrial technology and the military, the next challenge for me could only be in the services sector, and HR solutions sounded about as new a space as I could find. The reason I joined Adecco, however, is because of how the company integrates its core values with its work. The company is passionate about making a difference in the world of work, one job at a time. It believes it inspires individuals and organisations to work better, and has a positive impact on millions of people every day,” says Singh.

“Globally, Adecco has rapidly grown to become a full-suite staffing services leader. In India, my focus will be to drive the same thought leadership as a company shaping the world of work. We will continue to be thought leaders in the industry and labour market, finding innovative and customised solutions for our clients, candidates and associates. We have the right talent at leadership and executive levels, and I’m excited and confident about working with the team to mirror our global leadership in India,” Singh adds.

The Adecco Group, a Fortune Global 500 company, has approximately 33,000 employees and around 5,100 branches in over 60 countries and territories around the world.
