Rahul Pinjarkar has taken over as the chief human resources officer (CHRO), Tata Chemicals, with effect from today, that is, 1 June, 2023. He succeeds R Nanda who recently retired from the position.

Pinjarkar joins Tata Chemicals from within the Tata Group, where he previously held the position of HR head, Trent Hypermarkets.

Backed by an impressive professional journey spanning nearly 24 years across renowned organisations, Pinjarkar has held key HR positions at Novartis, Philips, ICICI Prudential and Saint Gobain, each contributing to his rich and diverse skill set. His experience in multiple industries has equipped him with a deep understanding of HR strategies and practices tailored to different sectors.

His expertise lies in talent management, employee engagement and organisational development. With a focus on fostering a culture of growth and collaboration, Pinjarkar has consistently contributed to the success of the organisations he has worked with.
