    Rajneesh Garg appointed chief information officer at Allcargo’s ECU Worldwide

    ECU Worldwide, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Allcargo Logistics, has appointed Rajneesh Garg as its new chief information officer. He will report to Kapil Mahajan, global-chief information officer, Allcargo Group, and will be based at the Mumbai headquarters.

    In his new capacity, Garg will be responsible for strategic leadership in technology, focusing on managing and supporting software applications. He will lead the technology transformation initiatives at ECU Worldwide, ensuring their successful implementation and adoption, in collaboration with the IT group shared services organisation.

    Prior to this, Garg was associated with Capgemini as its vice president- information technology. In this role, he was pivotal in managing regional delivery and growth for consumer products and retail accounts in the Nordic region.

    He has also spent more than two decades in senior leadership roles at Tata Consultancy Services. He joined the company in the year 2005 as its programme manager.

    Bringing over two decades of experience, Garg has honed his leadership skills across various sectors, including banking/insurance, travel and hospitality, manufacturing, energy resources, and retail/CPG.

    Kapil Mahajan expressed his enthusiasm, on his appointment and stated that Garg’s “ strategic vision aligns perfectly with our goals to strengthen ECU Worldwide’s IT division as we pursue ambitious growth and expansion.”

    Commenting on his appointment, Garg shared, “This role allows me to leverage my expertise to drive the company’s growth, guided by the visionary leadership of our founder and chairman. I look forward to contributing to ECU Worldwide’s growth journey with the Allcargo Group.”
