After a short stint at Avanse Financial Services, Saba Adil has stepped down and joined Raheja QBE General Insurance, as its chief people officer. Speaking about her new role, she says, “Being a key member of the leadership team, supporting business growth as the organisation is scaling up is one of the key priorities here.”
“To build the right capabilities to deliver strategic objectives, and to create a value-driven new-age organisation focused on customers and employees is the current mandate at Raheja,” adds Adil talking about the official mandate in her new assignment.
Previously, as CPO at Avanse, she was responsible for HR, CSR and administration. She also helped enable people to realise the vision and mission of the organisation.

Before Avanse, she led the charge at Aegon Life Insurance as COO and CPO, where she was responsible for driving the strategic goals and operating plans for the company.
Having been part of Aegon since its inception in 2007, Adil was a founding member, and has spent more than 12 years at the Company. Since the time she joined, she played an important role in creating a powerful culture, aligning the organisation to company values, establishing a strong employee value proposition, building its capability for a future-fit organisation and creating personalised employee experiences.
Prior to Aegon, Adil managed HR at Mahanagar Gas (MGL) and British Gas JV. She holds a bachelor’s degree in science and a master’s in HRM from Aligarh Muslim University.
