After successfully heading talent acquisition at SMEC for almost six years, Shubhra will now head people operations for India & International Business (Asia, Middle East & Africa), K&A Power, the global energy infrastructure company.
Mittal began her professional journey with Resource Management Associates Group, as senior executive in 2008. She spent over two years there, based out of Delhi, learning to handle technical recruitments from executive level to senior level positions for infrastructure companies.
She moved to New Era India as a senior executive-resourcing, in August of 2010. In less than a year, she was elevated to assistant manager-delivery.
From September 2011 to September 2020 she was associated with Egis India Consulting Engineers as lead-talent acquisition and talent management. During her nine-year tenure, she successfully aligned workforce and talent strategies with business growth and organisational priorities. She also built high-quality talent pipelines and strengthened leadership and critical talent capabilities through structured succession and development initiatives.
It was in November of 2020 that she joined SMEC as head of talent acquisition. For the next five years and ten months she developed and executed people and talent strategies, ensuring strong alignment with organisational goals while fostering a culture of inclusion, innovation and high performance.
Known to be a resourceful people person, she has effectively managed diverse workforces in a matrix organisation spread across multiple geographical locations.
