Unacademy, an Indian learning platform, has appointed Sadhydeep Purri as its new chief people officer. Having worked across various industries such as manufacturing, media, consulting, technology and retail, Purri brings a wealth of experience to Unacademy.
Purri has spent over two decades in human resources. She has also held many leadership roles across diverse industries and geographies. She is known for making sure that the well-being of employees is a top priority while making big changes aimed at companywide improvement.
Prior to joining Unacademy, Purri was associated with Sapphire Foods as its chief people officer, spearheading HR strategies for brands, including Pizza Hut and KFC. She has also worked with Aditya Birla Group’s retail division, including Aditya Birla Retail (now More Retail), Pantaloons Fashion Retail and Madura Fashion and Garments, covering their stores and non-store facilities.
Her career has taken her to different parts of the world, allowing her to make significant contributions in markets such as Asia Pacific, Europe and North America.
In response to her appointment, Purri expressed her excitement, and stated how delighted she is to be a part of Unacademy.
