After an over four-year long association with Amazon, Vinayak Deshpande has joined Parle Products as chief human resources officer.

This alumnus of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda began his professional journey with ACC, as assistant manager, in 2002. Three years and nine months later, he moved to Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, as general manager-human resources.

His next stop was GSK, in September of 2014 where he took up the role of general manager-human resources.

A year and a half later, he was roped in by Kerry to play director and head of human resources, South West Asia, in February, 2016. Over five years into the role, he was promoted to director-human resources, SWA, and mergers and acquisitions HR head, Middle East, India and Africa.

Amazon appointed him regional lead-human resources, in March of 2021. Less than a year and a half later, he was promoted to head of human resources-the UK and Europe.

Known to be a passionate HR professional with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to engage in a conversation with anybody he meets, Vinayak Deshpande will now continue to contribute to Parle Products with his resourcefulness, creativity and solution-oriented approach to issues.

HRKatha wishes him all the best in this endeavour!
