Aditya Pillai has been appointed CHRO, White Turtle Studios, credited with an expansive portfolio spanning creative campaigns, production, Vfx & 3d, social media, motion graphics, brand building & YouTube management. He moves from redchillies.vfx where he headed the human resources department for four years.
Pillai, who holds an MBA in human resources from the International School of Business & Media (ISBM), began his professional career as branding/relationship manager with Krishna Pavitra, an organisation that offers customised software for schools, colleges and universities. A little over two and a half months later, he moved to Sutherland Global Services — a firm that offers customer life-cycle management services and back-office life-cycle management services, which are integrated to provide end-to-end services involving the management of entire business processes for our clients — as senior executive – HR.
The next stop for this Microsoft certified professional (MCP) and Microsoft system administrator was PIXION.CCL where he joined as assistant manager – human resources in 2008. Within two years, he was promoted to the position of senior human resources manager. He spent almost nine years at PIXION.CCL, where his last-held position was that of general manager – human resources.
It was in 2017 that he joined redchillies.vfx — privately owned and operated post-production studio specialising in visual effects for feature films and commercials — where he headed HR projects such as revision of compensation plans and implementation of functional HRMS and internal databases across all department and locations. He also oversaw the payroll and performance evaluation systems, designing of company policies and procedures and review and updation of employment contracts and agreements, among other responsibilities.
