The company believes that it will be a big step towards promoting diversity and improving employee experience and will be extended to other OYO offices as well.

OYO Rooms has launched daycare centre at its corporate office in Gurugram, to help its employees with quality childcare facilities. The daycare is called Little O and is managed by Klay.

Ankit Tandon, COO- OYO Townhouse, says, “Our employees are our biggest strength. With 28 as an average age of the organization, a majority of the OYOpreneurs belong to the ‘Gen Y’ and Millennial generation. We are cognizant of their needs and this launch is a step ahead in ensuring a cohesive work-life balance for them.”

This company believes that it will be a big step towards promoting diversity and improving employee experience at OYO and will be extended to other Oyo offices as well.

The facility, sprawled across 950 sq. ft. is well-equipped with a play area, comfortable beds and a dedicated staff to care for the needs of children. It will serve as a strong support system for both male and female employees at OYO. The initiative is in line with the Government’s mandate and endeavour of ensuring quality childcare for working parents.

Company employees working out of the OYO HQ with children between six months and four years of age can use the facility. OYO has also introduced a reimbursable monthly allowance for OYO parents across the country who avail other daycare facilities for their children.

Innovation is among OYO’s core values and it encourages employees to develop entrepreneurial streak. The company also follows a cabin-less format to encourage greater interaction, strengthen team spirit and ensure uninterrupted work from any corner. Other employee benefits include flexible compensation structure, six months maternity leave, Comprehensive insurance, amongst others.
