    Srinivasa Rao is the cluster director of human resources, Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Embassy Manyata Business Park.

    Rao comes with over 22 years of experience in the HR domain in the hospitality space.

    A postgraduate in human resource management and personnel administration from Achary Nagarjuna University, Rao began his tryst with human resources at Ramoji Film City, in 2001, as deputy manager – HR, Dolphins Hotels.

    Six years later, he moved on to join Accor as assistant HR manager, Novotel Hyderabad Airport. Two years into this role, he was elevated to the role of director – HR at Ibis-Novotel Bengaluru Techpark.

    By 2016, he had become the director – talent & culture, Pullman & Novotel, Aerocity, New Delhi.

    Rao, who also holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Osmania University, completed a successful tenure of 15 years at Accor.

    In his latest assignment at Hilton, Rao is being relied on to head talent management for the cluster. It is hoped that his domain knowledge will help enhance this key business function further.

    His proficiency has been recognized by several awards, including Most Influential HR Leaders in India- in the Hospitality Sector by TIMES ascent, and National Winner of HR Person of the Year 2018 by BW Hotelier Indian Hospitality Awards.

    A versatile HR generalist, Rao possesses extensive experience in all aspects of core HR functions including pre-opening hotels, talent management, building a high-performance culture and high-performance teams, payroll & compensation, HR budget, HRIS, HR audit, HR analytics, statutory compliance and learning & development.
