Jayesh Sampat, president-human resources, business operations and customer experience, Liberty General Insurance will now be taking on an international role as senior talent advisor for the global regional market (GRM) – East in the Liberty Mutual Insurance Group.
In his new role, Sampat will be the single point of contact for talent and strategic consultation for GRM East, comprising Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, China and Russia. He will be reporting to Jennifer Ughetta, chief talent officer, Liberty Mutual, the global insurance company.
According to Sampat, “Liberty is an organisation with more than 100 years of business history and wisdom in the General Insurance domain. In the new role, my intent and focus is to enable employees to manifest and experience their best potential at work. As we bring our whole selves to work every day, the organisation thrives! A postgraduate in personnel management from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Sampat has lead the HR function in the banking and insurance fields. As a member of senior executive teams in global organisations, he has contributed towards transformation and change management, championed culture building and shaped people strategies and programmes. He has vast experience of collaborating with various stakeholders, aligning talent priorities and providing consultative support in organisation building and sustainable business growth.
A founding member of Liberty General Insurance in India, Sampat has been with the organisation for over seven years now.
