The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) has issued an official notification about recruitment for over 10,000 auditors and accountants across India.
About 10811 posts are available and the last date for applying for the same is February 19. All the details are available on the official website cag.gov.in from where the application form can also be downloaded.
Candidates should be graduates between the ages of 18 and 27. The selected cancidates will be eligible for a salary in the range of Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300.
Meanwhile, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is hiring 10 people for the Centre for Programmable Photonic Circuits project. The posts being hired for include that of chief technology officer (CTO), senior project officers, project associations and junior research fellow. The selected candidates will at first be taken on for a year after which they contract may be extended for up to five years, depending on their performance. The selected candidates will receive a salary in the range of Rs 21,500 to Rs 1,50,000, depending on their qualifications and the post they are occupying.
Those applying for the CTO position, should possess a PhD in engineering or science with three years experience or MTech, ME or MS with six years experience. The salary will be Rs 1,50,000. Eligibility for senior project officer post is MTech, ME or MS in relevant disciplines with specialisation in microelectronics and VLSI technology, applied physics or photonics (or) a master’s degree in science with 60 per cent or 6.5 CGPA and two years experience in relevant areas. The selected candidates are eligible for a salary of Rs 35,000 per month.
Tech graduates or engineering graduates or candidates with a master’s degree in science with 60 per cent or 6.5 CGPA and above may apply for the post of project associate. GATE qualification will be preferred. Similar qualification is desirable in those applying for junior research fellow position, along with two years of experience in the microelectronics and/or photonics industry or research lab. Today, that is January 29 is the last date for applying.
