The firm is targeting to expand by the end of 2018, owing to the growing need for data and analytics services.

With a rising demand for data and analytics services across sectors, Incedo, the IT services and consulting firm, is looking to expand its workforce to 5000, by hiring 3,500 people across India and the US, by the end of 2018.

A substantial number will be hired in the US — about 1,000— either as full-time or contractors, the company shared with the media. The Bay Area-headquartered firm that was spun out as an independent entity from the technology unit of Indiabulls in 2011, has operations across North America, South Africa and India. The company is now focussed on the digital space and has been achieving growth of 60–70 per cent year-on-year, for the last many years, and hence, the headcount is also going to be on a growth path.

Without disclosing the revenue figures, the company shared that about 80 per cent of its revenues come from the US and the remaining from India. The workforce in India is currently about 1,200 people spread across Gurgaon, Bangalore and Chennai, while in the US it comprises about 300 people.

With the enterprise data management market size expected to grow from USD 64.7 billion in 2015 to over USD 105 billion by 2020, companies are also looking to expand capabilities. While North America is expected to remain as the biggest market, the Asia Pacific region is expected to experience increased market traction.
