The year 2005 saw this alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) joining Yahoo as director & country manager – HR. After successfully shouldering strategic and operational responsibilities of the HR function at Yahoo! India’s global R&D centre, at Bangalore and field organisation in HR at Mumbai for a short stint of less than two years, Naik moved to Capgemini in 2007.

For three years, he was vice president – people processes, Asia Pacific, and an integral part of Capgemini’s financial services business unit.

Starting 2010, he spent a decade back at SAP. From VP and head-HR, India Subcontinent and board member, SAP Labs India, based out of Bangalore, Naik went on to become vice president – HR, office of the CEO and HR head, SAP Leonardo, based out of Palo Alto.
