Bhuvaneswar Naik is new CHRO at Lentra

Lentra, the lending solutions company, has appointed Bhuvaneswar Naik as its chief human resources officer.

Naik, who was co-founder and chief operating officer, Deskfactors Inc., comes with almost three decades of experience.

Having started off his career with the Taj Group of Hotels in 1993, as a personnel officer, Naik sure has had an interesting journey. He did a short stint with SE Technologies as manager – human resources before joining SAP in 1996. There, he went from being director and head – HR to VP- HR shared services in a span of over eight years.

The year 2005 saw this alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) joining Yahoo as director & country manager – HR. After successfully shouldering strategic and operational responsibilities of the HR function at Yahoo! India’s global R&D centre, at Bangalore and field organisation in HR at Mumbai for a short stint of less than two years, Naik moved to Capgemini in 2007.

For three years, he was vice president – people processes, Asia Pacific, and an integral part of Capgemini’s financial services business unit.

Starting 2010, he spent a decade back at SAP. From VP and head-HR, India Subcontinent and board member, SAP Labs India, based out of Bangalore, Naik went on to become vice president – HR, office of the CEO and HR head, SAP Leonardo, based out of Palo Alto.

Naik then co-founded Deskfactors Inc. where he also served as chief operating officer for over two years before joining Lentra.

Fondly called Bhuvan by his colleagues, Naik is known for his leadership skills and ability to empower the team and bring out the best in each team member.
