    Amit Jambotkar takes on COO role at Mirah Hospitality

    Jambotkar brings to the table over two decades of experience in the hospitality sector

    Mirah Hospitality has appointed Amit Jambotkar as chief operating officer (COO). For the past over eight years, Jambotkar had been playing director at Thangabali, a South Indian restaurant co-founded by Jambotkar himself.
    Jambotkar’s tryst with hospitality began in 1997 when he joined the Jumeirah Group as assistant restaurant manager.

    Five years later, he moved to Hyatt Regency as team leader.
    June of 2003 saw him taking up the role of operations manager-Mocha, at Impresario Entertainment and Hospitality.

    His next stop was Reliance MediaWorks, as area manager-operations from 2006 to 2009.
    May of 2009 was witness to Amit Jambotkar joining Impresario Entertainment & Hospitality as chief operating officer-elite dining and banqueting.

    By January of 2014, he was elevated to business head-social.
    From September of 2014 to July of 2015, he played CEO, Letscampout, working out of Mumbai. Then followed a more than year-long stint with Mirah Hospitality as vice president-operations, in August of 2015.

    JSM Corporation appointed him director-operations West in May of 2022.
    He switched to Ramee Group of Hotels, Resorts and Apartments in May of 2023 before taking on the director role at Thangabali.

    This will be Jambotkar’s second stint with Mirah Hospitality where he will lead operations across Mirah Hospitality’s expanding portfolio, driving brand growth, operational excellence, and guest experience transformation.

    His expertise in building high-recall brands, driving profitability, launching disruptive concepts, and leading large, multi-city teams will be an asset to Mirah Hospitality , which has a strong presence in the organised F&B space.
