Deloitte has appointed Arun Kumar as vice president-talent acquisition. He was earlier vice president-client services and site head-Bengaluru, at Magnit.
A commerce graduate from Delhi University, Arun Kumar went on to complete a postgraduation in marketing from the All India Management Association (AIMA), in 1999.
He served as front officer supervisor at Imperial Hotel for over three years, before joining FIS as senior manager, business operations, in 2000.
Over eight years later, he moved to EXL as senior assistant vice president (HR recruitment), in May of 2008.
After over nine years with EXL, Arun Kumar took up the role of account manager at Resource Solutions.
His next stop was Standard Chartered Bank in 2019, where he served as VP and lead-talent acquisition (Technology) for two years.
Randstad Enterprises appointed him head -RPO/MSP operations, India. Over three years later, he moved to Zinnov as director-talent acquisition.
It was in June 2025 that he took up the role of VP-client services and site head-Bengaluru at Magnit.
Now, in his latest assignment at Deloitte, he will lead talent acquisition initiatives, create recruitment strategies, and strengthen employer branding to draw quality talent.
Known to be a strong believer in people and in offering individuals a chance to learn and grow, he is sure to be an asset to Deloitte.
