    Jaya Chanda joins Bureau Veritas as talent management director-Asia Pacific

    Chanda moves from Nestle where her last-held designation was regional learning programme manager-Asica, Oceania, Africa and the Middle East.

    Jaya Chanda has joined Bureau Veritas, the global testing, inspection and certification company, as talent management director-Asia Pacific. She will be working out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

    An alumna of the Indian institute of Management, Calcutta, Chanda began her professional journey as an executive at the Taj Palace Hotel, in 1997. Three years later, she moved to Jindal Group, as assistant manager-administration.

    Her association with Nestle began in 2003, as senior administration officer. Four years into this role, she was elevated to executive-administration. Another promotion came along in 2010, which put her in the position of assistant manager-learning and training, South Asia. October of 2015 was witness to Jaya Chanda playing HR manager-corporate learning and training, South Asia region.

    After over 15 and a half years of association with Nestle India, Jaya Chanda moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to take up the role of regional programme manager-Asia & Oceania, at Nestle. Over two years later, she was elevated to regional learning programme manager-Asia, Oceania, Africa and Middle East.

    In her new assignment at Bureau Veritas too Jaya Chanda will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

    Known to be  a sincere training professional, Jaya Chanda is brings a good mix of subject matter understanding, organisational awareness and a human approach to the table.
