    Garima Srivastava promoted to VP HR-global head of TA, Takeda

    Till before the promotion, Srivastava was vice president - global head of talent acquisition, global portfolio division

    Takeda, the Tokyo-based pharmaceutical manufacturing company has elevated Garima Srivastava to vice president-human resource, global head of talent acquisition. Her association with Takeda is already over five years long.

    An alumna of Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad from where she obtained an MBA in Human Resources & Marketing, Garima Srivastava went on to completed a PhD in Organisation Behaviour from XLRI Jamshedpur.

    She served as lead-business partner HR at Infosys Technologies for over four years from 2011 to 2015. During this tenure, she led the HR function for one of the practices within a vertical of Infosys. Among other responsibilities, she anchored and managed key HR processes including compensation & benefits, organisation development, leadership development, talent management and HR analytics.

    August of 2015 saw Garima Srivastava move to GE Digital as HR manager. Till May of 2017, she successfully supported software teams in GE Transportation, GE Capital and Current & GE Lighting businesses at Bangalore.

    For about five months, she played leadership programmes and university relations leader for GE South Asia| HR manager for functions.
    Volgo Group roped her in for the role of HR director-talent and competence at UD Trucks. For the next three years and seven months, she was based out of Japan driving culture transformation, talent strategy, securing competence road map, learning and development, as well as diversity and inclusion strategy for the organisation.

    It was in April of 2021 that her association with Takeda began. She headed HR for global finance, based out of Tokyo for a little less than three years before being elevated to senior director-head of talent acquisition, Europe and Canada. This role saw her working out of Zurich, Switzerland.

    Another elevation in August of 2024 made her vice president-global head of talent acquisition, global portfolio division. Now, as VP HR-global head of TA for commercial, a hard working and detail oriented Srivastava will continue to contribute significantly to the organisations growth and goals.
