After playing head of business partnering at Cars24 for over a year, Vaishali Tyagi has taken up the role of deputy vice president- head of human resources at Stashfin, a financial-services platform with a mission to provide access to fair, fast, affordable and transparent financial products for millions of borrowers across India.
Armed with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Kirorimal College, Delhi University, Vaishali Tyagi went on to complete an MBA in Human Resources Management from IMI Delhi, in 2016.
She interned with Defence Research and Development Organisation before joining Axis Bank as deputy manager, human resources, in June of 2016.
Less than two years into this role, she was elevated to manager-human resources, in April of 2018. After two and a half years with Axis Bank, Tyagi moved to
Aditya Birla Health Insurance in November of 2018, as senior manager-HR. Two years and nine months into this role, she was promoted to deputy chief manager-HR.
Her next stop was Compass Group India where she head HR-Compass@ Google India for over two years, from 2022 to 2024.
She freelanced for a short while before taking up the role of head people and culture, retail, at Cars24, beginning an association that lasted for a little less than two years. She was promoted to head HRBP and L&D in May of 2025.
She steps into her new role at Stashfin goal of making Stashfin “the ultimate destination for top-tier talent by fostering a culture of high performance, intense curiosity, and bold innovation”.
