    Suzlon Group appoints Prateek Sharma as plant HR head

    Sharma comes from CMR green technologies where he was the plant HR manager

    Suzlon Group has announced the appointment of Prateek Sharma as plant HR head. He joins with 14+ years of experience in HR and plant operations within the manufacturing sector.

    Sharma’s mandate will focus on strengthening employee relations, contract labour management, compliance, and HR operations to support Suzlon’s production and business objectives. His track record reflects a strong emphasis on creating structured, compliant, and engaged work environments across large manufacturing units.

    Sharma began his HR journey as a human resources executive at Gajra Gears in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, in 2011 in a part-time capacity.

    He then took on the role of assistant manager at Jindal SAW in Kutch, Gujarat, from Dec 2014 to Dec 2018. For over four years he managed plant-level HR functions and workforce coordination.

    In December 2019,Sharma led as head–plant HR at Uno Minda in Pithampur Industrial Hub, Madhya Pradesh. During his five- years tenure, he handled areas such as attendance systems, benefits structuring, and industrial’ relations, along with Industrial relations(IR).

    Prior to joining Suzlon, he was plant human resources manager at CMR Green Technologies in Palwal, Haryana, from Jun 2025. In June 2026 he transitioned to Suzlon Group as plant HR head, where he currently oversees HR for plant operations.

    With experience spanning recruitment, employee engagement, and IR across automotive, pipe, green tech and renewable energy sectors, Sharma is positioned to drive Suzlon’s people and operational excellence agenda.
