Based on government reports, around 295,846 Saudi men are employed in the government sector, with a combined monthly salary of approximately SR 4.16 billion. Additionally, there are 1,27,575 female employees in the government sector, earning a total monthly salary of about SR 1.64 billion.
Non-Saudi women in the private sector earned more on average than non-Saudi men. Around 6,21,715 non-Saudi women got a total of SR 2.23 billion, averaging SR 3587 each. On the other hand, non-Saudi men, numbering 7.56 million, earned SR 19.09 billion in total, with an average of SR 2523 each.
Furthermore, non-Saudi women in the government sector also earned higher average salaries than non-Saudi men. Around 39,866 non-Saudi women received about SR 359.91 million, averaging SR 9028, while about 73,365 non-Saudi men earned SR 523.83 million, with an average salary of SR 7140.
In government jobs, the average salary was SR 14053 for men and SR 12872 for Saudi women. In the private sector, 1.35 million Saudi employees earned SR 12.05 billion in total, averaging SR 8953 each. Among them, 9,27,624 Saudi women earned SR 4.98 billion, averaging SR 5373, according to government reports.
