Having opened a new office in Bengaluru, Fynd, the omnichannel platform is gearing to hire at least 2,000 more engineers by the end of the financial year 2023.
In May, the Reliance-backed platform had revealed its plans to hire 30 per cent of its talent from Ahmedabad (Gujarat) as part of a recruitment drive. At the time the Company had revealed plans to hire over 1200 people across levels, junior and senior.
It was then looking for talent trained in the areas of full stack, Java, Python, DevOps, Node, Mobile & IoS, and so on.
The firm, which had doubled its team strength over the past six months, currently has a 750-strong team. It is now working to hire more in alignment with its growth and expansion plans across South India.
Of the new hires, a significant number will be for its Bengaluru office. Therefore, about 800 engineers will be hired from South India in the latest hiring round.
The new hires will be required in the multiplatform tech company’s efforts to launch new products and explore new markets.
The Company recently announced the 4th batch of Fynd Academy (its accelerated learning programme) that imparts technical and practical skills to freshers and experienced professionals. The courses are designed with the objective of equipping candidates with relevant and in-demand skills, live projects and guided mentorship, which they can apply and be absorbed into the workforce of Fynd.
