In addition to the annual college ranking, colleges were provided exclusive insights, including the total number of internship selections, the total number of applications, and the total number of students.

In 2023, over 15,000 students from 400+ colleges across India secured internships with prominent brands, startups, and SMEs. Notable companies that engaged interns in 2023 included Nestle, HCL, HDFC Ergo, Lenskart, and Aditya Birla Capital.

On announcing the Annual College Rankings of 2023, the founder and CEO, Internshala, Sarvesh Agrawal said, “The initiative to provide these rankings aimed at honouring colleges with the best internship records. To achieve such commendable internship records, the efforts made by the college authorities assisted students in applying theoretical concepts through practical exposure.”

He further added, “As a part of the college rankings, we also provided these colleges with some exclusive and college-specific insights into the overall performance of the colleges to help colleges in identifying areas for improvement and showcasing their strengths. I congratulate all the well performing colleges. The contributions of the training and placement officers (TPOs) have not only helped students in making informed decisions about their career choices but have also assisted companies in identifying the top talent in the country.”

Maintaining its position as the top-ranked college across India for the past three years, Dr. Venkatesan B, HOD – IT, and internship coordinator, Paavai Engineering College, expressed, “I am delighted to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Internshala for the outstanding recognition of Paavai Engineering College, achieving All India Rank 1 in the Annual College Ranking ’23 for the highest number of internship selections. We are committed to providing our students with exceptional opportunities and preparing them for the professional world.
