Mahindra Group’s Saral Rozgar partners with the Ministry of Labour and Employment


Saral Rozgar has signed an MoU with the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment for National Career Services online portal to bridge the digital divide in the job market place

Tech Mahindra Ltd. a specialist in digital transformation, consulting and business re-engineering and part of USD 16.9 billion Mahindra Group has associated with the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment for the National Career Services (NCS) online portal. This association gives Saral Rozgar access to a larger pool of job seekers and aids the fulfillment of job vacancies. This is in line with Saral Rozgar’s mission of bridging the digital divide in the unorganized job marketplace.

Saral Rozgar is a partner organization wherein the job opportunities on the NCS portal will be passed on to the aspirant job seekers registered with Saral Rozgar. The job seekers can then apply to these jobs.

Speaking on the occasion, the Secretary, Min. of Labor and Employment, Shri Shankar Aggarwal, said, “NCS has been implemented to act as an integrated platform for all the key stakeholders like industry, central government, state government, PSUs etc. to join hands in realizing India’s aspiration of becoming a globally competitive workforce. These MoUs are only the first step in this journey and we are looking forward to more such strategic partnerships.”

“The objective of NCS partnering with Saral Rozgar is to facilitate reaching out to user the job seekers who are not present in the Internet world. The job seekers can connect easily over the mobile phone with Saral Rozgar and NCS call centers and create their resume and search relevant jobs matching their skill set,” said Pravin Srivastava, Deputy Director General, DGE, Min. of Labor and Employment.”

Speaking at the MoU exchange, Mayuk Dasgupta, Business Head – Saral Rozgar, Tech Mahindra Ltd. said, “We are excited about our association with the National Career Services (NCS) portal. This will help mobility innovations such as Saral Rozgar to connect with the untapped job seekers and bridge the employability gap. It will also improve our fulfillment ratios with our clients and increase the brand awareness among the audience.”

Saral Rozgar has more than 6 million registered job seekers across 800 locations covering 23 states. More than 10,000 employers including large corporate employers use Saral Rozgar for their entry level and blue collared recruitment needs. There are more than 1 million jobs being generated across 150 plus categories for supporting the job search for candidates who are not digitally present. Additionally, it has received several accolades from national and international bodies of repute for INNOVATION.
