MeritTrac Services, a subsidiary of the Manipal group, today appointed Sujatha Kumaraswamy as its new chief executive officer (CEO).
In her new role, Kumaraswamy will be working closely with the Board of Directors and spearheading the performance and strategy the management team in setting the long-term goals, strategies, plans and policies with a strong focus on its execution.
She is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in nurturing and managing new businesses and functions in the education, assessment, BPO, IT/ITeS, and financial services sectors.

The group has augmented its leadership position over the years through path-breaking ideas and innovative products. I am excited to be back as a part of MeritTrac Services and lead it into its next phase. Prior to assuming her current role, Kumaraswamy was Vice President, Strategy and Business Excellence, at Manipal Global Education Services. She also was the Head – Delivery & Operations, at MeritTrac Services.
Before joining MeritTrac, Kumaraswamy has worked with Cognizant for over nine years, in the Infrastructure Services, Application Management, Digital Services, and Consulting business units. She has also worked with General Electric, Wipro Technologies and Tech Mahindra. She holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, has a degree in Cost Accounting from ICWAI, and a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Madras University.
