Accenture has named Pradeep Prabhala as the new head for its India market unit, with the role taking effect 1 September, 2026. The appointment highlights Accenture’s focus on strengthening leadership in India, one of its largest growth markets, and on scaling capabilities that help clients drive value through data and AI.

In his new position, Prabhala will partner with Indian clients to leverage AI and data for faster growth, higher productivity, and more agile business models. He will also work with multinational companies to expand and strengthen their Global Capability Centres in India, positioning them as hubs for innovation, transformation, and operational resilience – a key focus area for Accenture worldwide.

Arundhati Chakraborty, global lead for finance & GCC and executive sponsor for the India market unit at Accenture, observed that India remains central to Accenture’s growth agenda. She added that as organisations double down on technology-led reinvention and look to extract greater value from AI and data, the opportunity to lead is significant. She further stated that Pradeep’s deep cross-industry and global experience makes him well suited to capture that momentum, and that the team is delighted to have him join Accenture.

Prabhala brings over 20 years of experience advising global companies on enterprise transformation, growth, AI adoption, digital, commercial strategy, supply chain, M&A, and sustainability.

Prior to Accenture, he was a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led the consumer practice in India and the agriculture practice across Asia. Before that, he spent nearly 10 years at Monitor Deloitte, helping clients across geographies grow, enter new markets, and build new businesses. He began his career at Hindustan Unilever as part of the founding team that built the company’s modern trade business in India.

Beyond consulting, Prabhala is active in the startup ecosystem as an early-stage investor in AI, enterprise software, and deep-tech ventures in India and the US. He is also an incoming Fellow at both the Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Centre and the Salzburg Global Seminar.
