Vector Consulting Group, a management consulting firm, is strategically scaling its talent pool with a recruitment drive targeting top B-schools and experienced professionals. This move comes in response to a robust pipeline of projects and reflects the company’s bullish outlook on its growth trajectory.

The firm recently concluded campus recruitment at prestigious institutions such as IIM-A, IIM-B, IIM-C, IIM-I, XLRI, and ISB, acquiring 35 highly qualified management graduates. Additionally, plans are underway to onboard over 50 experienced MBAs in the coming days.

This expansion is fuelled by Vector’s unique engagement model, which emphasizes implementation and success-linked fee structures, resonating strongly with clients. “Human capital is our biggest asset,” says Sayan Chakrabarty, CHRO at Vector. “We plan to add 50-100 more personnel to our team to capitalize on our strong business pipeline.”

Vector stands out amidst a conservative hiring landscape among international consulting firms. Unlike competitors, the company boasts an impressively low annualised attrition rate of 5% and a zero-downsizing policy throughout its 18-year history. Their approach prioritises “hiring right” and fosters a nurturing environment conducive to continuous learning and growth, free from individual performance pressure.

This strategic talent acquisition initiative positions Vector Consulting Group to capitalise on emerging opportunities and solidify its position as a leading force in the Indian management consulting landscape.
