Two Australian brands — Di Bella Coffee and Australian Retail College — have signed an MoU with Manipur- based skills provider and NSDC partner, JCRE Skill Solutions.

The trio will now work together to deliver skill development training and jobs to rural youth of Manipur.

The Australian Retail College (ARC) has been delivering skill development training for central and state government initiatives in India for the past two and a half years. Di Bella Coffee, founded by Australia’s celebrated entrepreneur and philanthropist, Philip Di Bella, has set up ten stores in Mumbai and Hyderabad. There is a plan to open 50 stores in the next three years.

JCRE Skill Solutions (JCRE) is a registered vocational training provider based out of Imphal.

Last year, JCRE successfully placed its candidates in the retail industry and now it plans to open 13 centres across the North East.

“We feel that the North-East states have a huge talent pool, which is in high demand in the service industry. However, this talent should find responsible and ethical training organisations and employers who believe in developing and growing them. We are happy to find that in the tripartite partnership among JCRE Skill Solutions, Australian Retail College and Di Bella Coffee,” says Niranjan Singh, CEO & Director, JCRE Skill Solutions.

The agreement will see each partner utilise its specialist skills to play a key role in the delivery of an initial target of 150 jobs.
