Bata is stepping boldly into the future as it celebrates its 130th anniversary globally. The company has unveiled its state-of-the-art headquarters in Gurugram’s Millennium City. The new office embodies the brand’s transformation into a modern, eco-conscious organisation, reimagining the workplace for the next generation.
This groundbreaking headquarters sets a new standard for sustainable corporate spaces in India, proudly achieving both Platinum LEED Grade-A and GRIHA certifications. Central to the design is the concept of ‘Blue Sky Thinking’, which fosters limitless creativity and innovation. Additionally, the workspace promotes collaboration among teams through an innovative hot seat concept, encouraging dynamic teamwork.
With an array of modern amenities—including wellness rooms, libraries and creative open working spaces—the new office enhances employee experience. Cutting-edge technology is also integrated throughout, featuring interactive digital screens and facial recognition access to optimise both work efficiency and environment.
Notably, 33 per cent of the office benefits from natural light, and the design incorporates water recycling systems, solar power and low VOC paints. This showcases Bata’s commitment to minimise its ecological footprint while maximising employee comfort and productivity.
Reflecting on this milestone, Gunjan Shah, managing director & CEO, Bata India, stated, “By creating an environment where smart technology and eco-conscious design converge, we are transforming not just where we work but how we work. As we write the next chapter in Bata’s enduring legacy, we’re ensuring that every step we take is towards a smarter, more sustainable future.”
This innovative headquarters champions innovation, collaboration, and sustainability while remaining anchored in the timeless values that have defined the Bata brand for over a century.
