Genpact, a global professional services firm dedicated to driving transformative outcomes for businesses, has announced a collaborative partnership with Microsoft. This collaboration enables Genpact’s talented workforce worldwide to access Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service, empowering them to harness generative AI capabilities for their clients and unlock new opportunities.

Genpact has identified multiple avenues to utilise large language models (LLMs) in optimising enterprise efficiencies across various domains such as transition management, global service desk management, and infrastructure management. Generative AI holds the potential to enhance employee productivity, operational efficiency, and agility, enabling Genpact’s domain experts to develop use cases that address the day-to-day challenges faced by enterprises.

Vidya Rao, chief information officer, Genpact, emphasised the unprecedented potential of generative AI in driving innovation. By democratising access to this technology, including Microsoft Azure’s powerful AI tools, Genpact continues to foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and knowledge across its extensive global workforce of over 115,000 employees. The company’s continuous learning environment helps clients optimise the rapidly evolving landscape of AI, and the collaboration with Microsoft’s AI tools is set to revolutionise its approach to problem-solving.

This collaboration with Microsoft adds to Genpact’s wealth of expertise in AI innovation. Their investments in advanced data analytics, strategic AI acquisitions, leading-edge technology solutions, and extensive experience with LLMs across various industries have positioned them as innovators in combining AI and advanced analytics.

Sangita Singh, general manager IT and ITES, Microsoft India, expressed delight in collaborating with Genpact to expedite the development of new solutions that empower enterprises to strategically leverage generative AI for business value. “Microsoft Azure AI, coupled with Genpact’s industry knowledge, operational expertise, and experience in managing processes for Global Fortune companies, creates a powerful combination,” she added.

To support its employees’ utilisation of generative AI tools, Genpact will provide comprehensive training programs and resources. Additionally, the establishment of a generative AI practice with a team of data scientists, data engineers, and domain experts on the Genpact Cora platform will further accelerate the development of generative AI capabilities.
