    Hiring News: Opportunities for bankers, professors, legal advisors, firefighters

    Vacancies have been announced for the post of branch receivables managers at Bank of Baroda (BOB). Interested graduates with at least two years’ work experience, with one year in the collection area with a financial institution, bank or non-banking financial company is a must. More details are available on the official website, bankofbaroda.in. The last date to send in applications is April 14.

    Meanwhile, Deshbandhu College of Delhi University is all set to hire 132 assistant professors at a salary of Rs 57,700. Five assistant professors are required for biochemistry, 10 for zoology,11 for botany, seven for chemistry 7, five for commerce, three for computer science, eight for economics, three for English, three for EVS, five for Hindi, 13 for history, 20 for mathematics, three for philosophy, one for physical education, 18 for physics, 11 for political science, one for Punjabi, four for Sanskrit and one for Sindhi.

    Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) will be hiring based on CLAT 2022 scores, for the post of assistant legal adviser. Salary up to Rs 1,80,000 will be offered. Interested candidates can apply on the official ongcindia.com site. The online applications for the CLAT 2022 online exam can be sent till March 31, while the exam is scheduled for May 8. Two posts are available for unreserved candidates and one each for SC and EWS categories.

    About 900 fire-fighers are being hired by the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB). Interested candidates who have cleared the Class XII exam can apply. The selection process will comprise a written examination also. Post clearing the written exam, the candidates will be put through a field test, including heavy vehicle driving and medical tests.
