After serving Somany Ceramics for over two years as head of human resources, Atish Bhattacharya has joined RAK Ceramics in a similar capacity.
Armed with an MBA in Human Resources, Atish Bhattacharya was picked by Larsen & Toubro from the campus as management trainee. He later joined as executive-HR, in January of 2004, in L&T’s ECC division. During the three years there, he dabbled in talent acquisition, learning and development, campus hiring and HR operations.

Bhattacharya’s next stop was Samsung Electronics where he served as human resource business partner for a year and three months, based out of Gurugram.

From November of 2010 to September of 2014, Atish Bhattacharya was associated with Bharti Infratel as senior manager-human resources (HR business partner/ circle HR head-UPW circle/talent acquisition).

After almost four years with the tower infrastructure company, he moved to AccorHotels India, as regional manager-human resources, India. This stint in hospitality lasted two and a half years after which Bhattacharya joined Greenlam Industries, as assistant general manager-talent acquisition and employee engagement, in 2017.

Over two years into this role, he was elevated to lead-sales HR, in April of 2019.
Okaya Power Group roped him in as head of human resources and administration (AVP-HR), in June 2022.

It was in November of 2023 that he came to be associated with Somany Ceramics as head-HR.
Now, over two years later, Atish Bhattacharya is heading HR for RAK Ceramics, the tiles and sanitaryware company,  where he is looking forward to “the journey ahead and the opportunity to create meaningful impact alongside an incredible team here”.

    All the best, Atish!
