Bajaj Finserv, a part of Bajaj Holdings & Investments Limited, has appointed Anupam Sirbhaiya as its head – Group Learning Academy.
Sirbhaiya who was formerly the country manager at Center for Creative Leadership, a global executive education provider has taken charge this month.
As part of his new role at Bajaj Finserv, Sirbhaiya will focus on creating a synergised learning approach, well anchored in the business, to support the diversified financial services portfolio of the Group.
Sirbhaiya has over 22 years of diverse management experience that spans across sales and marketing, consulting with start-ups, leading business strategy aligned learning interventions, to setting up and running a profit centre.
In his last role as the country manager at CCL, he was responsible for leading CCL’s efforts in India and enabling business growth.
During his stint of eight and a half years at CCL, he built a strong team of professionals inside the organisation and also created a high calibre extended community of associates.
Sirbhaiya started his career with Tata Steel, back in 1990 and then moved on to Wipro’s Consumer Products and Lighting Division as the Branch Manager, heading sales for Western UP region.
In March 1997, he founded a management consulting firm that focused on providing professional assistance to new organisations in their start up and early growth phase especially in people management related areas.
It was in 2007 that he joined CCL as the regional director and got promoted as the country manager in November 2012.
At Bajaj Finserv, Sirbhaiya replaces Deepak Reddy, who has now moved into a larger role as the Chief – Human Resources, Administration & Group Learning Academy at the financial services company.
