    BPCL elevates Pushp Kumar Nayar to director-HR

    Nayar was still recently serving as executive director-HRD at Bharat Petroleum where his association is already over 15 years old

    After a long and successful association of over three decades with Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL), Pushp Kumar Nayar has been promoted to director-HR.
    Nayar had joined BPCL way back in 1991, as section incharge operations. After over five years in this role, he served as senior sales officer for three years, taking charge of four districts of Madhya Pradesh.

    In October of 1999, he became HOD-PNG marketing, Indraprastha Gas. He spent over four years dabbling in business planning and execution of PNG business, working out of Noida.

    November of 2003 was witness to Pushp Kumar Nayar taking up the role of logistics manager, Bharat Petroleum handling, handling SCM activities for North. Over two and a half years later, he was promoted to territory manager, Delhi and Haryana. From 2008 to 2010, he served as business development manager, Lubricants-North. May of 2010 was witness to him taking up the role of senior manager (reseller), based out of Mumbai. A year into this role, he was promoted to national channel manager. For the next four years he looked into the retail and Bazaar business across India. In May of 2015 he was promoted yet again to territory manager, retail. A year later, he relocated to Bhopal on being promoted to state head (retail), Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh. Three years into this role, he was elevated to marketing manager (lubricants), working out of Mumbai. He then moved to Chennai to head retail for South. In April of 2023, he was back in Mumbai as executive director (HRD), BPCL.

    Now, on the recommendation of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB), he has been elevated to director (HR).

    His diverse leadership across retail, lubricants, supply chain, and HR will continue to be an asset to BPCL and its operations.
