Neha Saxena Shenoy has been appointed as deputy CHRO at Cairn Oil and Gas.
In her LinkedIn post, Shenoy expresses her excitement at “the opportunity to contribute to India’s energy self-sufficiency” and “learn from and work with global industry stalwarts and transformational leaders”. She admits that she is“ impressed by everything the team has accomplished to make India self-sufficient” and is eager to learn about the sector, and the vision and ambition of Vedanta Resources and Cairn.
Shenoy, an alumna of the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, started her HR journey with Larsen & Toubro as an HR executive, at the New Initiative Cell, corporate HR.
Two years later, she became senior HR specialist with Fidelity Investments, with HR generalist and staffing responsibilities. In 2007, she did a short stint with GE Capital, as manager – talent development and engagement. About 9 months later, she joined GE Global Research as HRLP, where her job was to improve staffing processes. For over two years after that, she was HR leadership programme member at GE, an initiative that fast tracks career development programme for HR professionals.
From January 2009 to January 2010, she was HR manager for GE Aviation Engineering Teams at Cincinnati, Ohio.
Her next assignment was as the HR leader at GE Healthcare, where she was an HR generalist with additional responsibility for learning & development, staffing, as well as compensation & benefits for GE Healthcare Technology India.
For the period 2011 to 2014, she served as leader – university relations and diversity & inclusion, South Asia, for GE. As part of the organisation and talent development team, Shenoy led diversity and inclusion as well as university relations for all eight businesses of GE in South Asia.
Her next stop was Adobe, wherein as senior HR business partner, she provided coaching and consulting expertise to leadership on people issues/ leadership. She worked closely with the centres of excellence (COE) to ensure seamless service delivery for employee groups in client organisations.
A little over a year and a half later, Shenoy moved to Microsoft as HR business manager. At Microsoft, she worked across all the Company’s businesses in India, managing India people strategy, driving strategic HR/ OD and operational business processes and programmes, HR team effectiveness, key people programmes for all India businesses.
Her association with Reckitt began in 2017, when she joined as regional head – leadership and talent development, RB Health, South Asia, Middle East, Africa, Turkey. Soon she was elevated to the position of diversity and inclusion lead for RB, globally.
In 2020, Shenoy joined Honeywell as human resources director, providing HR leadership for two large, diverse businesses.
In her latest assignment at Cairn Oil and Gas, Shenoy will work closely with the Company’s SBUs to drive enhanced business performance and attract best-in-class talent, said an official post.
