After a long and successful 17-year long association with Bank of America, Inayat Sandhu Hara has moved to Bristlecone. She will be playing chief human resources officer (CHRO) at the information technology services and consulting company.

Interestingly, Inayat Sandhu Hara completed a BA (Hons) in English Literature from Miranda House, Delhi University before obtaining an MBA in Marketing/HR in 1999.

After a ten-month executive training with Radisson Hotel, Sandhu Hara joined GE Consumer Finance as manager-training, in June of 2000.

In less than three and a half years, she was elevated to national hiring manager. By the time she moved on from GE Consumer Finance in 2005, she had reached the position of senior manager-human resources.

Her next stop was Syntel where she played HR leader-sales from December of 2006 to May of 2009.

Her association with Bank of America began in May of 2009.

Her latest assignment at Birstlecone will see her handling global people strategy, talent management, leadership development, organisational culture, and HR transformation initiatives to support Bristlecone’s continued growth.

In her 26-year long career, she has managed to gain multifaceted experience in Human Resources, having held leadership positions in talent acquisition, learning, leadership development and business HR. Besides building HR capability and functional expertise, Inayat Sandhu Hara also possesses project management skills that will stand her in good stead in her new role.

HRKatha wishes her all the best!
