Shashi Bhushan Singh, director – human resources and a member of the senior management at Jagatjit Industries, has resigned from his position, effective 21 July, 2026, to pursue opportunities outside the group.

The company disclosed the development in a regulatory filing with the BSE under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Singh submitted his resignation on 20 July, and the company’s management accepted it the following day. Jagatjit Industries has not yet announced his successor.

Singh joined Jagatjit Industries in March 2024 as director–HR (CHRO), where he led the company’s people strategy, talent management, organisational development, and HR- transformation initiatives.

Prior to joining Jagatjit Industries, he served as chief human resources officer at Havmor Ice Cream (Lotte Group) for nearly two years, leading the company’s HR function during a period of business growth.

Earlier, Singh spent close to three years (2019-2022) at Cipla, where he partnered with business leaders on talent strategy, organisational effectiveness, and people initiatives.

Before that, he worked with Cargill India for nearly five years (2015-2019), serving as factory HR manager and later senior manager – HR/employee relations (India). During his tenure, he led plant HR, industrial relations, employee relations, and administrative functions while supporting HR strategy at the national level.

He also spent over three and a half years with Heinz India (2011-2015), overseeing plant HR, industrial relations, statutory compliance, compensation and benefits, recruitment, training, and performance management.

Singh began his corporate HR career at LG Electronics, where he spent more than four years in various Corporate HR roles. During this period, he managed campus hiring, recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, manpower productivity, cost innovation, and HR operations for the Pune plant.

With over 18 years of experience across the consumer durables, FMCG, pharmaceutical, food processing, and manufacturing sectors, Singh has built expertise in talent management, change management, digital transformation, mergers and acquisitions, greenfield projects, industrial relations, and union management.

An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Singh holds an MBA in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the International School of Business and Media (ISBM).
