    Gaurav Shah joins NDTV as HR head

    Gaurav Shah has been appointed as the new HR head at NDTV Group, a move that underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing its human resources leadership. Prior to this appointment, Shah was the general manager and senior HR business partner at Adani Enterprises from April 2023.

    With a distinguished career spanning over 19 years, Shah’s expertise in driving strategic and innovative HR initiatives aligns with business priorities to foster high-performance culture and engagement.

    Having held significant roles in versatile industries across various geographies, including IT/ITES, telecom, and integrated Infrastructure, Shah’s experience is enriched by his association with conglomerates like Reliance, Tata, and Adani.

    He earned a post graduate diploma in business administration from Sardar Patel Institute of Economic and Social Research in 2004 and a post graduate diploma in business management, strategy & leadership from Emeritus, Singapore, with distinction in 2019.

    Shah’s journey with the Adani Group began in 2014 when he joined as manager, lead talent execution. His consistent contributions led to his growth within the organisation, progressing to the role of senior manager, human resources in 2018. His stellar performance earned him promotions, ultimately culminating in his appointment as deputy general manager & senior HR business partner in 2020, and subsequently, as associate general manager & senior  HR business partner in 2022. 

    Prior to his tenure with the Adani Group, Shah made significant impacts at Tata Teleservices and Reliance Communications, strengthening his understanding of HR’s pivotal role in business growth.
