iD Fresh Food, the fresh food brand has appointed Megha Latawa, as its new chief human resources officer (CHRO). Latawa will oversee HR for the company’s Indian and international markets.
Backed by over a decade of experience in HR, Latawa has worked across diverse industries, such as manufacturing, ITS & ITES, retail and e-commerce. Prior to joining iD Fresh, Latawa was heading the human resources function at udaan.com. She had joined udaan.com as HR lead & COE in 2020 and had been elevated to head HR – customter discretionary categories in 2021.
An alumna of Hindu College, Delhi University and Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, Latawa has worked with Infosys for two years — first, as human resource business partner, from 2011 to 2013, and then, as human resourced organisation development manager, from 2013 to 2014.
Her next stop was Adity Birla Fashion and Retail in 2014. She joined as HR manager and within two years, she was elevated to head HR – Pantaloons. By 2018, she was promoted to the role of general manager, handling talent management, learning and development as well as organisation effectiveness.
Latawa is looking forward to “collaborating with a group of skilled and enthusiastic individuals “ at iD Fresh that has “undoubtedly achieved remarkable milestones.”
Latawa’s wasn’t the only new appointment at iD Fresh. The company has also roped in Enakshi Dasgupta to head its new business and new product development (NPD). Dasgupta comes with fifteen years of experience in the FMCG sector. Before iD Fresh, she held the position of category head at Grupo Bimbo (Modern Foods).
