First Advantage has appointed Puroshottam Savlani as senior vice president and managing director, for its India operations.
Savlani has stepped in for Navin Chugh, the erstwhile managing director & SVP for India, who has moved on to a new global role as the executive vice president, strategic global sales, First Advantage.
The company, which is into the business of background screening analytics and identity solutions, is optimistic that Savlani will drive the next stage of revenue growth for its India business. In his new role, Savlani will be responsible for executing the vision and strategy of First Advantage.
Savlani moves from Wipro where he was general manager and head of sales, responsible for the infra-managed services business.
With a professional experience of two decades, he comes with expertise in managing sales, executing mission critical projects, business consulting, general administration and business leadership with primary focus on strategy formulation, service delivery, profit & loss management, business operations and team leadership.
An enthused Savlani says in an official communique, “The changing dynamics in the hiring process, at public and private companies, has opened a plethora of opportunities for us. I look forward to getting on this exciting journey and tapping the new opportunities that lie ahead.”
