Randi Bryant is first chief diversity officer for Freshworks

Bryant has worked with Comcast, McDonald’s and the New York Transit Authority among others in the past

In line with its goal to focus on diversity in the workspace, SaaS software company, Freshworks Inc. has appointed DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) advocate, Randi Bryant, as the Company’s first chief diversity and inclusion officer.

A prominent inclusion strategist, Bryant has been actively promoting the concept of ‘across the board inclusivity’ throughout her professional career. A speaker on the issue of diversity at many conference, she has authored books such as ‘Neversays: 25 Phrases You Should Never Ever Say to Keep Your Job and Your Friends’ and ‘All the Women in My Family Sing’ around the subject of diversity and inclusion.

Bryant is eager to join Freshworks that stretched to support its global team amidst the pandemic-related emergency situation with innovative initiatives. The Company managed to survive without resorting to furloughs or even mass layoffs. It helped to vaccinate its employees and their families in India.

Having completed a PhD from the University of Virginia, Bryant has left her own consultancy, the Bryant Consulting Group (BCG), to join Freshworks. She has worked extensively with clients that include Fortune 500 companies, to address various DEI issues that a company and its employees could face in her previous role as the founder and president of the consulting group. In her two decades of work as a DEI specialist Bryant has worked has helped customize leadership and training solutions and implement full lifecycle management for public and private entities worldwide, including Comcast, McDonald’s and the New York Transit Authority.

Since its founding in 2001, BCG has been a premier training provider with offices on both coasts and annual revenues exceeding $1 million.
