Ajay Tripathi has been appointed as the CHRO at Renew Power, which works in the renewable and environment sector. Tripathi will lead the HR function at the firm. Prior to this appointment, Tripathi was the CHRO at L&T Infotech, where he was also leading the global HR function for the company.

With more than two decades of experience in the HR domain, this postgraduate from XLRI has worked extensively in the IT and tech sector. Tripathi is also a BTech degree holder from IIT Kanpur and began his professional journey with the Steel Authority Of India (SAIL) in operations. After gaining some initial industrial experience of five years with SAIL, he decided to pursue postgraduation in personnel management and industrial relations.

After completing his post-graduate degree, Tripathi worked as a human capital consultant with companies such as Mercer and EY for the initial four years. In 2004, Tripathi joined Dell as an HR generalist and moved up the corporate ranks in the company. Tripathi spent almost close to 11 years with Dell and served his last position as an executive director – HR for global apps and BPO. In 2016, he moved to Atos, an IT tech firm as the SVP-HR for India.
