    Saumya Khati elevated to group CHRO, Shiprocket

    After serving as senior vice president and head – HR, Shiprocket, Saumya Khati has been elevated to the post of group chief human resources officer.

    An alumna of the Indian School of Business, Khati also holds an MBA in human resources from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.

    Khati’s first brush with HR came when she handled performance management and employee engagement at the Tata Group from 2005 to 2007. She moved to Perfetti Van Melle, where she handled talent acquisition and HR operations for two years, based out of Gurugram.

    Her next stop was Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages where she served as HR business partner from 2009 to 2016, looking after Delhi and West UP area.

    The year 2014 saw her at Gap, as head – learning and organisational development. After a successful two-year tenure, she moved to Yum! Brands, where she served as associate director – talent, learning and rewards for almost five years.

    It was in 2021 that she came to be associated with Shiprocket, the e-commerce enablement platform. Two years into her role as senior vice president and head – HR, she has been promoted.

    Known to be an approachable business partner and her ability to integrate HR strategy with key business goals, her domain knowledge is sure to be an asset in her new role.

    A natural leader, those who have worked with her are taken in by the way she operates with a clear head and open heart.
