Xpheno has appointed Sunil Nair as head of growth-IT and ER&D staffing. This role will see Nair spearheading efforts to expand the specialist staffing company’s market share, explore new industry domains, and drive sustainable growth through strategic client engagement. He will be tasked with driving Xpheno’s professional staffing growth in engineering services and IT staffing verticals.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, Sunil Nair began his professional journey as an articled trainee, with Vijayan & Associates, Chartered Accountants, in April of 2000. Three years later, he joined Trans India Constructions, as marketing manager.
Monster.com roped him in to play relationship manager-key accounts, in November 2006.
Nair’s next stop was TeamLease Services, as manager-business development, in August of 2007. He then moved to TMP Worldwide, as senior manager, business development over a y ear later.
April of 2009 saw him joining Datamatics Staffing Services to handle business development. Almost three years later, he switched to Kelly where he played business development manager, India for a short while before moving to Leeway Consulting Services, as principal consultant and business development.
Sunil Nair’s association with Varite Inc. began in 2014, as APAC businss development manager. By 2020, he had reached the position of senior manager, sales, client management and operations.
From March 2021 to June 2022, he was with Wiley India as senior manager, client service-emerging trained talent, HTD.
TeamLease Digital roped him in to play AGM-sales for a while before he took charge of business development as AVP at Careernet, in 2022.
By 2023 he was back at Varite as associate director-sales and business development.
It was in November 2024 that he came to be associated with Andor Tech as director-business development, operations.
Now, at Xpheno, Nair feels “proud to be part of Xpheno’s journey in transforming the hiring landscape with deep industry knowledge, agile delivery, and a client-first mindset”.
