    Vahdam India hires Kalpesh Tiwari as CHRO

    Vahdam, a wellness brand based in India which retails the country’s finest teas and spices to the global market has hired Kalpesh Tiwari as its chief human resource officer (CHRO). He will report to Bala Sarda, founder and CEO, Vahdam.

    In this new role, Tiwari will lead the entire HR function at Vahdam India, across the manufacturing and non-manufacturing divisions with a key focus on attracting and acquiring great talent, developing and shaping existing talent, and creating a healthy working environment at the Company.

    Before joining Vahdam, Tiwari served as the human resources director at Limeroad. He comes with 14 years of experience and has worked across FMCG and e-commerce companies such as Mother Dairy and Mahindra and Mahindra.

    Expressing his excitement at Kalpesh’s appointment, Sarda said, “Adding an HR leader to the team is part of the Company’s strategic plans to attract great talent, engage our current team and make Vahdam India a fulfilling place to work for all our team members.”

    Tiwari admits to feeling honoured to be a part of the management team at Vahdam, and hopes to contribute to its vision of taking India to the world.

    “I look forward to focusing on providing an ecosystem that enables learning, and bringing out the best in each employee, for the positive growth of the company.” He added.

    Vahdam was founded in 2015 by Bala Sarda, with the goal to build a home-grown Indian brand for the world. It has BRC certified state-of-the-art facility, and local distribution in key markets like the USA, Canada and Europe. It also has strong organic endorsements from celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey and Martha Stewart. Vahdam is aiming for a revenue of 500 cr over the next two years.
