Workers at the Flipkart FRK Fulfilment Centre in Farukhnagar, Gurugram staged a large protest after alleging that their salaries had been reduced without proper explanation. Employees gathered outside the warehouse, refusing to work until their demands were met. Police were deployed to maintain order, and district officials, including the Assistant Labour Commissioner and Naib Tehsildar, visited the site to hear grievances.

The workers said recent salary revisions had lowered their earnings and allowances. One major complaint was that the night shift allowance was cut from Rs 120 to Rs 50, which triggered widespread anger. Protesters also raised concerns about contracts being ended early and demanded that all contracts last at least one year.

Their demands included restoration of previous pay levels and allowances; a daily wage of Rs 783; monthly payment of attendance bonuses; assurance that no protesting employee would be blacklisted or suspended; salary increments for those with more than four years of service; greater job security with retention of current positions.

The protest highlights growing concerns about pay and working conditions in India’s fast expanding e commerce logistics sector. Workers said they would continue the strike until management addressed their demands. Flipkart has not yet issued a public statement, while officials assured employees that their concerns would be taken up for consideration.
