    Jobs for Himachal residents in Dubai, Abu Dhabi?

    Job seekers in Himachal Pradesh can now avail of opportunities in the United Arab Emirates. A recruiting agency, EFS Facilities Services India, approved by the Ministry of External Affairs, is hiring residents of Himachal Pradesh for technical as well as non-technical roles in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

    There appears to be a demand for carpenters; plumbers; electricians; machine operators; painters; masons; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) experts and so on.

    The Department of Labour, Employment, and Overseas Placement, Himachal Pradesh, has in possession details pertaining to immediate openings at a nuclear power plant in Baraka, a real-estate Provis school in Abu Dhabi, and Bike delivery services in Dubai. The openings in Baraka and Abu Dhabi are for candidates who are proficient in English, while the Bike riders would require a matriculation certificate, driving license as well as a valid passport.

    The salaries offered will be in the range of Rs 23,000 to Rs 1,14,450 along with accommodation. The candidates must have passed Class 10.

    Those selected will be trained for two months during which they will be given food allowance of Rs 7,000.

    The interested candidates are advised to contact their District Employment Officers with their valid passports along with other documents and a detailed resume within a week. These are required by the agency for further processing.
